If I Stay by Gayle Foreman

Heads up...this book has a section that has some sexual activity by the main character and her boyfriend and has some swearing in it. Just an FYI!

In this story 17 year old Mia finds herself in a coma faced with the decision whether or not to fight for life following a tragic car accident that kills the rest of her family. She is a talented and independent young woman. I enjoyed the story and it's interesting use of passage of time and interesting twist on perspective. A note of caution should be given in regards to some mature themes and language. Conflict could be taught using this book.
